Based in Auckland, Guy shapes the strategic direction of Cello with experience drawn from senior leadership roles at Spark New Zealand, Computer Concepts Limited (CCL), and Cello itself.

His career has spanned enterprise sales, business improvement, and commercial leadership, giving him a broad view of the New Zealand technology market and a clear sense of where the opportunities lie.

Earlier in his career he also served as a Naval Officer with the Royal New Zealand Navy, which has informed his ability to think clearly under pressure and plan with discipline.

As Chief of Strategy, Guy is accountable for how Cello positions itself for growth, identifying the right markets, partnerships, and capabilities to pursue, and ensuring the business is moving in a direction that creates lasting value for clients and stakeholders alike.

He brings a pragmatic, commercially grounded approach to strategy, with a particular focus on making sure long-term ambitions are matched by near-term execution.
