Kieran brings a strong commercial perspective to finance, shaped by experience across professional services, governance, operational leadership, and strategic advisory.

Before joining Cello, Kieran ran his own financial and commercial consulting business, working with business owners and leadership teams across a range of industries on growth strategy, financial performance, commercial negotiations, working capital, and operational improvement, alongside governance and board-level roles.  He brought similar breadth to his role as Chief Financial Officer at one of New Zealand's largest FMCG businesses, building on nearly a decade with a Big 4 firm in New Zealand and internationally.

Kieran's connection to Cello began at board level, serving as a Director before stepping into the CFO role, giving him a governance perspective that continues to inform his approach to financial stewardship today.

As Chief Financial Officer, Kieran is responsible for the financial stewardship of the business, ensuring Cello has the insight, discipline, and investment focus needed to support sustainable growth, bringing skills well beyond the confines of a traditional CFO role.

Kieran is a Chartered Accountant and a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Card of New Zealand, holding a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and an LLB (Hons) from the University of Canterbury.
