Our Story
Introduction
Cello was founded on a simple idea: New Zealand businesses deserve a network provider that's genuinely focused on their success. Not one that treats enterprise as an afterthought while prioritising consumer markets. And not one that disappears after the sale – but a partner committed to service excellence at every stage.
Growth story
What started as a small team in Wellington has grown into New Zealand's largest specialist enterprise network provider. Today, we're 130+ people across four offices, serving 400+ organisations that depend on us for their connectivity. That growth has come from one thing: delivering on our promises and building relationships that last.
Our approach
We've always believed that the best outcomes come from genuine partnership. That's why we invest in long-term relationships with our customers, our people and our technology partners. It's why the same team that designs your solution supports it ongoing – no hand-offs, no rework, no surprises. And it's why we've built our own business-dedicated infrastructure rather than simply reselling someone else's network.
Service excellence as a foundation
Network service excellence isn't something we bolted on later – it's been core to who we are from the beginning. We design it right. We're always here when you need us. And we partner with you to succeed. These aren't just words; they're commitments we measure ourselves against every day.
Looking forward
As networks become more critical to how organisations operate, the need for specialist expertise and genuine service excellence only grows. We continue to invest in our people, our infrastructure and our partnerships to ensure we're ready for whatever comes next.
